At this level, swimmers will work on proper swimming form and learn to swim independently in both the shallow and deep end. Survival skills such as treading water are introduced and the level aims to make swimmers comfortable in the deep end of the pool. 

Swimmers will practise the frontcrawl, backstroke and basic breaststroke at this level.
